Make Space for the Diamond

Over time, our soul has journeyed through countless lifetimes—across different species, experiences, and impressions. These impressions, or sanskaras, may be positive or negative, yet we continue to carry them, knowingly or unknowingly.

But let me clarify one thing:
Our soul is not a dumping ground. It is a sacred space—a home where our body, mind, senses, emotions, and breath dwell in harmony.

A Story to Illuminate the Path

Once, a man wandered from village to village, carrying a jar filled with stones. He didn’t know exactly what he was searching for, but something deep inside told him he was missing something.

One day, he met a traveler who was holding a radiant, precious diamond. Seeing the jar full of stones, the traveler kindly offered the diamond to him. The man was thrilled—he felt an instant pull, an inner knowing that this was what he had been searching for all along.

Excitedly, he opened his jar to place the diamond inside. But the jar was so full of stones that there was no space left for the diamond.
The traveler gently suggested, “Why don’t you empty the jar? Let go of some stones, so you can make space for this gift.”
The man paused, confused. The diamond was undeniably valuable—but those stones? He had carried them for so long. They felt familiar, even if they no longer served a purpose.

Torn between the comfort of the old and the truth of the new, the man chose to keep the stones. He gave back the diamond—and continued on his way.

A Gentle Invitation to Reflect

Dear readers, the lesson is simple but powerful:

We often cling to what no longer serves us—outdated beliefs, emotional baggage, unhealed wounds—and in doing so, we miss what is truly precious and meant for us.

The Divine may offer you a diamond at any moment.

But the question is: Will you have space to receive it? Or will your jar still be full of stones?

Reflective Practice

Take a quiet moment. Look around your life—internally and externally.

  • What are the three most necessary, nourishing things for you right now?
  • Write them down.
  • Now ask yourself: What are you willing to let go of past to make space for now?

Create space—emotionally, mentally, energetically.

So when life offers you something aligned with your true path, you’re not caught in the dilemma of choosing.

You’ll already be ready. You’ll receive it with grace.
