Wings of Faith: Surrendering to life
Once, there was a mother bird with a tiny little one in her nest.
Day by day, the little bird grew, watching her mother closely—how she flew away, returned with food, and cared for her with love and affection. Sheltered in her mother’s warmth, the little bird soon began to flutter her own small wings.
One bright morning, filled with energy, she stretched them wide and managed to fly a little before returning to the nest. Excited, she chirped about her new adventure. Her mother hugged her with pride.
Soon, she was soaring higher and higher, blooming with joy in the vast sky.
But one night, everything changed. The mother bird left for her own journey, leaving the little one alone in the nest.
The next morning, the young bird woke up to an empty space—no mother to greet her, no familiar comfort. Fear and loneliness wrapped around her. She cried and wondered, “What do I do now? How will I live in this world I don’t understand?”
But then she remembered how her mother used to go out, find food, and return. Gathering courage, she took her first uncertain steps into the unknown. She searched, stumbled, and finally found grains and water. Eating, she felt a little lighter.
This routine continued. Soon, she met other birds, made friends, and began to understand her place in the world. Slowly, she realized:
This is what life as a bird truly means.
This is what she was born to do.
And everything else—her food, her safety, her path—was already cared for by the Divine.
Dear Readers,
This little bird’s story is not just hers—it is ours too.
Often, we stand at the edge of the unknown, filled with fear:
What will tomorrow bring?
How will I handle the challenges ahead?
Will I be left alone in this vast world?
But here’s the truth: only the Divine knows tomorrow. While we worry about survival, the universe has already planned our life for living.
Just like the bird discovered her wings, her food, her community, and her purpose—we, too, are meant to find our path, not merely survive, but live fully.
So tonight, as you close your eyes, let go of the fear of the unknown. Sleep peacefully. Trust the plan. The Divine has already arranged what you need.
If this story touched your heart, share it with someone who might be struggling with uncertainty today. And before you sleep tonight, whisper a gentle thank you to the universe—for always having a plan, even when we can’t see it yet.
